ANTI-DRUG COMMITTEES (ADCs)

Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau, TGC&CC, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad has informed that Government resolved to form Anti-Drug Committees (ADCs). The Anti-Drug Committee at DR. VRK Women’s College of Pharmacy has been established to maintain a drug-free campus by enforcing a complete ban on the possession, consumption, or use of drugs and alcohol by students, both on and off campus, including hostels. The committee’s responsibilities include organizing awareness programs within the college and hostels in collaboration with government-approved agencies in curbing drug menace. It also focuses on educating students about the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol, promoting peer monitoring to prevent drug use, and encouraging students to report any drug-related activities to the Anti-Drug Committee.

Objectives of the Anti-Drugs Committee
  • To spread awareness to ensure a drug/substance free campus.
  • To engage the students in Anti-Drug activities and educate them about the ill-effects
  • Motivate students to become volunteers of Anti-Drug activities in their life
