Telangana Formation Day 2024: Telangana, the youngest state of India, was formed on 20d June, 2014, after bifurcating from Andhra Pradesh. Since then, this day has been celebrated as Telangana Formation Day which is observed annually.
World Hepatitis Day: World Hepatitis Day is a global campaign to raise awareness and action on viral hepatitis, a major cause of liver disease and cancer. It is observed annually on July 28th.
As July 28th falls on Sunday you all are requested to gather on 30th July, Tuesday in the computer lab at 2:30 pm to attend presentation made by the students focusing on this year’s theme which is “it’s time for the action”.
World No Tobacco Day 2024: World No Tobacco Day is an annual event observed across the globe to demonstrate the harmful effects of tobacco. Children are using e-cigarettes at rates higher than adults in all regions and globally an estimated 37 million youth aged 13-15 years use tobacco.
This year theme “Protecting Children from Tobacco Industry Interference“.
World Pharmacists Day 2024: World Pharmacists Day is a global health care event celebrated on Sep 25th every year since 2009. It commemorates the anniversary of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), which was established in 1912 to recognize the vital role of pharmacists in healthcare systems around the global. This day promotes awareness of pharmacist contributions to ensure the medication safety, improve the health and, most importantly, providing patient care.
THEME – Pharmacists: Meeting Global Health Needs, which serves as a platform for the profession to celebrate its contributions to enhancing global health and emphasize the ability to further improve global health outcomes.
World Pneumonia Day 2024: The theme for World Pneumonia Day 2024 is “Every Breath Counts:
Stop Pneumonia in Its Track”. the day is observed on November 12th every year to raise awareness about pneumonia and its impact on global health, the theme emphasizes the importance of each breath and the need to combat pneumonia through early detection, treatment, and prevention.
World Students Day 2024: World Students Day is celebrating on October 15th every year to honor the contributions of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the 11th President of India, in the field of education. The day also aims to promote education as a fundamental human right and raise awareness about the challenges students face globally.
The theme for World Students’ Day 2024 is ” Empowering Students to be Agents of change” the day focuses on encouraging students to be future leaders and innovators and emphasizes the role of education in societal transformation.
